Background
 
Dr. Barnowski is originally from Tucson, Arizona, but has called St. Charles, Missouri home for the last 20 years. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Saint Louis in 2002. After high school, she continued her education at Truman State University. She excelled academically in high school and participated in many athletics including basketball, volleyball, and earning a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She has played the flute for the past 15 years, playing in her undergraduate orchestra and for her church.
 
Dr. Barnowski has had a life long ambition to help others through chiropractic care after a series of injuries incurred during Tae Kwon Do and basketball tournaments. She sought the care of Dr. Ralph Filson, and since that time, she has wanted to help individuals through chiropractic care. Dr. Barnowski graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2009. Dr. Barnowski interned at the St. Peter’s Health Center, where she was named editor of the St. Peter’s Newsletter and Clinician Assistant to Dr. Bill Hogarth.
 
 
Interests
 
Dr. Barowski enjoys spending her time with her amazing husband, Tom, and their dog, Maverick.
 
Dr. Barnowski spends time searching the latest chiropractic developments, in attempts to grow and improve in her professional life. She is currently learning the art of Acupuncture and is becoming certified in enzyme nutrition through the Loomis Institute.
 
Dr. Barnowski loves to expand her horizons with travel and immersing herself in different cultures. She is an avid reader and enjoys music. She still participates in Tae Kwon Do occasionally. Dr. Barnowski believes family is a priority, and loves to spend time with her husband, parents, siblings, and nephews.
